Born in Hackney, the philosophy of Jolene is that real food, grown meaningfully and ethically, brings us together. They use good produce from great people who farm responsibly, showing that consciously making small considered changes can amount to meaningful progress.

It’s fitting then, that their brand embodies the authenticity and playfulness of a cafe who doesn’t take themselves too seriously. The logo, drawn by the Creative Director’s son at Frith, is loose and joyous. The earthy hues of merchandise married with pops of violet on their coffee cups live up to this sense of play and when even your logo smiles, customers are going to too!

Coffee shops and restaurants are places for us all to step out of our busy lives and create small but meaningful and fun connections. The coffee at Jolene is great and the baked goods even better, so there’s no need to try hard just stay true to what you believe in. Even Dolly would be proud.
